On Saturday I took the family to the Floriade. It is in Canberra and took about 3 hours to get there. The children were asleep most of the journey.
I had the opportunity to really test out my Canon 50d with the 24-70mm L f2.8 lens. I was surprised at the bokeh that I was getting even though the lens was not wide open. I was also pleased with the vivid colours of the photos and really brought out the different flowers seen at the show. Click here for the photo slideshow.
